MY RELIGION
I do believe that I am
Bigger than in my mind
That I am plugged into
A much larger seeing Eye
Just like an image
In a shard of glass
Living colour
I am a part
That fits perfectly
A kaleidoscope of sound
A collection of letters
A symphony of vowels
Shaping form
We are the dance
We are the art
We are the wonder
Of it All
I do have faith
In the power of the Light
That sparks the flame
That shines the night
Fire of Life
The miracle of Love . . .
I have faith in everyday
Even for unseen forces
I feel are showing me the way
We are the original prayer
The blood that forms the bones
The spirit that brought us here
The original thought that knows
My religion has a thousand tongues
A thousand traditions
A thousand suns
A thousand stories carried in the wind
A thousand eyes
Seeing eternity within . . . .
